What case detail, no matter how small or odd, disturbed you the most?

For me, it involves Cho’s actions at Virginia Tech.

According to two witnesses in the Introductory German class, he popped his head in twice and looked around the room. Then he came back and unloaded his clips without hesitation.

Why is that minor detail so disturbing to me? Well, the implication is that Cho was scoping out the room to see how fast he needed to act and who he could kill first.

Survivor Colin Goddard, who was in the Intermediate French class, pointed out that Cho’s first visit to his classroom was to “suppress everyone to floor” that way he could “come back and finish people off.”

I think about that quite a bit.
