H247 Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 AMG Dynamic established in Thailand – 1.33L turbo motor; priced from RM328k

The second-generation Mercedes-Benz GLA has formally made its launch debut in Thailand, where it is available in a sole GLA 200 AMG Dynamic variation, costing 2.399 million baht (RM327,634). The H247 GLA first made its international debut back December a year ago, and is meant to be a sportier, lifestyle-oriented option to the GLB in the German carmaker’s compact vehicle range.

The Thailand market, the GLA 200 utilizes similar powertrain once the GLB 200 Progressive offered there. In hood, there’s a M282 1.33 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that makes 163 PS (161 hp) at 5,500 rpm and 250 Nm of torque from 1,620 to 4,000 rpm.

The mill is paired with a 7G-DCT seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which drives the leading wheels, allowing for a zero to 100 km/h time of 8.7 moments and a premier speed of 210 km/h. The SUV additionally rides on lowered convenience suspension system and is designed with the Dynamic choose system, providing some drive modes that affect the traits of this powertrain.
