G22 BMW 4 Series now in Thailand – single 430i M Sport variant with 258 PS, 400 Nm; priced from RM542k

First revealed globally in June this present year, the second-generation G22 BMW 4 Series has been launched in Thailand. Our northern neighbours will get the big-nosed coupe in one single variation, that will be the 430i M Sport, priced at 3.969 million baht (RM542,313).

For the money, the 430i packages a B48 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol motor that creates 258 PS (255 hp) from 5,000 to 6,500 rpm and 400 Nm of torque from 1,550 to 4,400 rpm. Drive would go to the rear tires via a Steptronic Sport eight-speed automatic, and coupe will need 5.8 seconds to obtain from a rest to 100 km/h, with a premier speed of 250 km/h.

An M Sport outside package is standard here, which is made of a stylish and aerodynamic front bumper with prominent atmosphere curtains, big faux side intakes, and a V-shaped reduced intake. Around straight back, you’ll find a pair of circular exhausts built-into the rear bumper, which includes a diffuser-like element, black colored trim, and part vents that mimic those at the start.

The package is accompanied by M Sport suspension system and brakes, even though the remaining outside kit list includes 19-inch M double-spoke alloy tires in a bi-colour finish, adaptive Light-emitting Diode headlamps, a powered sunroof, BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line trim, and LED fog lights.

On the inside, the 430i is sold with an M Sport leather steering wheel, a Sensatec leather-based dashboard Aluminium Tetragon trim, an anthracite black colored headliner, and Vernesca leather furniture. As for the technology bits, there’s dual-zone environment control, driven front seats, ambient illumination, BMW ConnectedDrive, a wireless phone charger, a head-up display, plus the BMW Live Cockpit system.

Standard safety and motorist support systems based in the Driving Assistant package includes lane departure warning, a blind spot monitor, rear-cross traffic alert, autonomous emergency stopping, back collision prevention, and traffic indication recognition. Other features consist of adaptive cruise control, Parking Assistant, six airbags, while the usual selection of passive systems.

According to Headlightmag, the 430i will undoubtedly be available in four colours, with Black Sapphire, Dravit Grey, and Mineral White being combined with a Tacora red leather, while Arctic Race Blue comes with Cognac leather-based rather.
